Measuring your house for new siding is easy! Jot down the answers
to the questions below, and then enter that info on our
siding quote page.
Step 1: Is your home simple or complex?

Step 2: Measure the perimeter of your
home
Walk around the outside of your home, and measure the length of the
walls. Keep track of these
measurements and add them all together.
Step 3: Count your triangles
Many homes have areas known as gables. Gables are the peaked area
of your roof that cause the siding to form a triangle. Find the
triangles on your home. Large triangles will
be longer than 20 feet, small triangles will be less.
Step 4: Measure the height of your home
Measure (OR GUESS) the average height of your home. The
easiest place to start is on the back. Then move to the sides,
and lastly the front. Do not include the Triangles that you just
measured. One story = 8 feet.
